After almost two years of anticipation, Sony has today finally released the remake of MediEvil on PS4, just in time for Halloween.

To go along with the game's release today, Sony also formally released the launch trailer for MediEvil. The video, which is a minute long, features the game's protagonist Sir Daniel, now with his new, high-definition look. The trailer shows off many of the cutscenes that you'll see throughout MediEvil, in addition to some new gameplay footage as well. All in all, the game looks pretty great visually, but it's hard to tell based on the trailer alone how it will play.

Because this is a remake, Sony also isn't charging the usual $59.99 price that most games cost nowadays. No, instead MediEvil is valued at $29.99, which doesn't seem too shabby. This is a remake of a game from 1998 after all, so to charge full price would be kind of wild.
