As many fans are well aware by now, Call of Duty: Vanguard takes fans back to World War II. A setting that hasn't been seen in a Call of Duty game since 2017's Call of Duty: WWII.

Sledgehammer Games have upped the ante with Vanguard as the main protagonists are based on real-life heroes from the second world war. Check out all of the characters and cast of Vanguard below.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Campaign Characters and Cast

Although Call of Duty: Vanguard has a long lineup of characters and cast members, there are a total of four main protagonists that drive the narrative of Vanguard's campaign.

Sergeant Arthur Kingsley (Played by Chiké Okonkwo)

Arthur Kingsley is the leader of Task Force One and was born in the Douala region of Cameroon. Kingsley also attended the University of Cambridge before enlisting in the British Army.

Players will discover that Kingsley is a natural-born leader but also cares deeply for his teammates, constantly battling the thought of falling into the traditional patterns of the British Army.

Lieutenant Polina Petrova (Played by Laura Bailey)

Polina Petrova was born and raised in Stalingrad and is a soldier that simply wants to defend her country. She is a woman of few words and instead lets her actions speak for her. Petrova is one of the best sharpshooters on the planet, using skills she learnt from her family before becoming a soldier.

Petrova is driven by the desire to her home free from Nazi invaders and will do whatever it takes to make that dream become a reality.

Private Lucas Riggs (Played by Martin Copping)

Riggs was born and raised on a sheep farm just outside of Melbourne, Australia. He worked with his family tending to the herd and collecting wool whilst he was growing up, but when World War II began there was no hesitation from Riggs about signing up.

Often described as a 'gentle giant', Riggs is the life of the party, but to his enemies is an intimidating warrior of honor.

Lieutenant 1st Class Wade Jackson (Played by Derek Phillips)

Finally, we have Wade Jackson from Brooklyn, New York. Jackson is often described as a rebel and is always first to the fight. He's also a bit of an adrenaline junky, after finding his love for speed at a young age through joyriding cars with his friends, it soon paid off when he was accepted into the Navy's aviation cadet program and went on to earn his pilot's wings in a dive bomber.
