Meet the Ogrim from The Elder Scrolls Online

Remember the Ogrim from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind? The big ugly Daedra is making a comeback in The Elder Scrolls Online, and today ZeniMax Online Studios published a developers’ blog post in which the creation of the new Ogrim model is detailed from the concept art phase to the finished monster.

Together with a semi-technical (and definitely interesting) explanation of the creative process behind the tough hide of this hulking fellow, we also got a piece of lovely concept art and a series of renders, that you can check out in the gallery below alongside a gameplay video.

I don’t know about you, but this isn’t the kind of guest I’d like to meet in a dark cave. I’m guessing I’ll have to quite soon, though, considering that I definitely plan to try TESO out.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
