The Monster Hunter series has now become synonymous with crossover content. Be it the new Nintendo events announced last week or the Devil May Cry crossover, Capcom has been rolling out interesting content for Monster Hunter fans for years. The newest update (already available) brings The Blue Bomber and some Square Enix content to the already best-selling Japanese game.
Announced at Monster Hunter Fiests 2016 and shown in the video below, Monster Hunter X (Cross) is netting Rockman (i.e., the Japanese name for Mega Man) Felynes with the recognizable helmet and Special Weapons to match. As seen in the video, this includes Guts Man’s “Super Arm,” Wood Man’s “Leaf Shield,” Top Man’s “Top Spin,” Dust Man’s “Dust Cleaner,” Gravity Man’s “Gravity Hold,” and Flame Man’s “Flame Blast.”
Additionally, Capcom also announced a Square Enix event allowing players to battle Kushala Daora beginning January 15th. Overtaking Kushala Daora will net you a legendary Felyne Palico “Knyaight Sword” and “Knyaight Series” armor. Check out the picture (below).
Monster Hunter X (Cross) is currently on Nintendo 3DS and only available in Japan. There is no indication (yet) of a Western Release.
