Capcom has announced today via their official Japanese website that Mega Man Legacy Collection, otherwise known as Rockman Classics Collection in the region, will be releasing for mobile devices on January 6th.

Available for both iOS and Android, no details of whether or not the collection of classic games would be making their way to the West were provided. As in the original title, Mega Man Legacy Collection groups the first six Mega Man games together in one convenient package.

It released digitally last year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, then came out early this year for 3DS, available in a North American-exclusive gold Mega Man amiibo bundle which unlocks eleven new challenges, ten made by fans themselves.

Mega Man Legacy Collection features a brand new challenge mode and a brand new museum mode, the former of which remixes gameplay segments from all six games and scales difficulty objectives for both experienced and new players, the latter of which contains a comprehensive collection of history, high-res art, and original concept pieces from the franchise.
