Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Gets a Release Trailer Cut by Kojima Himself

How does Hideo Kojima feel about Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance? According to what he said many times, he loves it, but his real feelings can be probably perceived better in the launch trailer for the game, that he cut himself.

The hand of the master definitely shows in the seven minutes long trailer (is anyone surprised about the fact that it’s long?), and while it’s very heavy on the action, it still manages to be emotionally intense.

This is definitely my kind of “reboot” (even if it’s not properly a reboot, and that’s part of the point): no real influence on the original series other than expanding the story, respect for the IP, no meaningless westernization and a developers that obviously love the previous games. What’s not to love?
