Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Gets Two Luxurious Japanese Special Editions

Looks like Japan is about to get the long end of the special edition stick yet again. Konami has revealed two expensive and very fancy special editions of Platinum Games’ upcoming action game Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The Premium Package will include the standard game, art-book, soundtrack, steel case and ninja costume DLC, as well as a customizable Dwarf Gekko figurine. This bundle will cost 9,980 yen, which is the Japanese equivalent of about $125.

For 12,980 yen ($163, yikes), you can snag the pretentiously named “Premium¬†Packaging¬†Konami Style Special Edition”. This set includes all the trimmings of the Premium Package, as well as a Play-Arts Raiden action figure. Both sets will be limited, so only the hardest of the hardcore fans will probably be plopping down the bucks for them.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available in February. Check out more pics of the Japanese special edition goodies below.
