Metal Gear Solid 4 Opening Recreated by a Fan with Legos
Check out this cool LEGO diorama inspired by the opening of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots that caught Hideo Kojima's attention.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and the Metal Gear series as a whole are classics, and inspire various events and fan creations. The latest comes from Marius Herrmann, a Twitter user known as @SteppedOnABrick who creates Lego dioramas based on everything from Final Fantasy to, in this case, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
The centerpiece of the Lego diorama is the GEEKO, the unmanned but autonomous ground combat vehicle seen throughout the game. Marius even is selling the instructions for the intricately crafted Lego mech, which uses 522 Lego bricks overall. That being said, they do point out that the Lego GEKKO is quite fragile and should mainly be used for displays like the diorama featured below.
I wanted to give the #LEGO GEKKO a proper background, so I created a small diorama inspired by the opening of #MetalGearSolid 4.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is still exclusive to the PS3, and was one of the last PS3 titles to be available via PS Plus back in February.
