According to a new post on the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit, all the theories regarding the cut content from Metal Gear Solid 5 might actually be true. A Redditor posted that they have access to a PS3 dev kit that has the alpha build of Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. Notably, there is some credibility to the post as there were some screenshots posted as part of the post as well.

Metal Gear Solid 5 New Leak Reignites Chapter 3 & Mission 51 Theories

Quite notable of all was the screenshot which showed 39 missions in the game. This is way more than the original number of missions that people can find in the game. This has led many people to believe that all the Chapter 3 & Mission 51 theories could finally come to a conclusion and they would get to see what content was actually cut from the game.

The Redditor stated that the PS3 was dying so they sold the PS3 but copied the content on a different HDD. They still have the alpha build of the game with them, and they wanted to know if there was any way they could get the data from the encrypted drive.

But will we hear more about the Metal Gear Solid 5 content? Well as things stand, it seems far from reality. In a shocking turn of events, the Redditor who posted the content on Reddit has deleted his account altogether. The post is nowhere to be found. The users are not able to figure out exactly what led to the user's account getting deleted, and many are in fact showing interest in trying to retrieve the data from the hard drive. However, it seems like the cut content is gone forever, until of course, the guy comes back with another twist in the tale.
