Donna Burke has sung a majority of the main themes in the Metal Gear Solid franchise. She did "Heavens Divide" from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker as well as "Sins of the Father" from Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. If you are a major fan of the franchise you know of her work. Now, just last week, she went to Twitter to share a project she has been working on.The tweet included a video of her in what seems to be a recording studio. Along with the video, she ended the tweet with "Kept you waiting huh?!??" an obvious call back to the Metal Gear Franchise. You can take a look at the video and tweet below.

In true Metal Gear and Kojima fashion, speculation has been all over the place about what she could be teasing. I have seen everything from a Metal Gear Solid Soundtrack collection to a full-on remake of the very first title on the PS One. While I would love to see a remake by the masters over at Bluepoint, I wouldn't get your hopes up. Maybe she has a new track for Kojima's next title? Who knows. We will most likely just need to wait until Donna officially comes out with her project. However, it is fun to still speculate.

While we wait for the inevitable release of Death Stranding, a game that seemingly continues to be pushed farther back without ever officially having a release date, us Kojima nerds need to get our fix in somewhere.
