A lot has been said about Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's Quiet attire, but what can she really do in game?

Turns out she's very useful as an AI-controller companion, as Hideo Kojima himself explained this morning during a stage event at Tokyo Game Show.

You may have caught glimpses on it if you saw the new footage, but without knowing any Japanese it's hard to catch the details.

Quiet can be set to follow you covering your back, or can move (quite fast actually) to a vantage point you indicate. From there she will mark targets automatically for you.

She can also snipe them if you so wish, and can be ordered to fire exactly at the same time as you do, to eliminate pairs of enemies without raising an alarm.

Finally, she's able to destroy armored targets by precisely sniping a grenade you throw.

There's more, though, as Quiet isn't the only "buddy" you can bring with you in the game. There will be more, and Kojima-san teased that one more could be introduced during the presentations in the public days of the show. This means either on the 20th or the 21st.
