Today Konami announced the release dates for its upcoming Metal Gear game Metal Gear Survive.

The game is going to launch in North America on February 20th, in Europe on February 22nd, and in Japan on February 21st.

A free Day One Edition will include four gold-plated weapons, two additional gestures, four metallic survival scarves, the "Kabuki" face paint, a boxman "The Orange" accessory, and a Mother Base name plate.

A  Digital Deluxe Edition will come with a digital soundtrack, a Cyborg Ninja head accessory, a gesture and a seven-day premium boost pass.

Alongside the announcement, we also get a few new screenshots, artwork and the official box art, which you can check out below.

The game was playable at Gamescom in Cologne, and will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Of course, if you're wondering, the series' creator Hideo Kojima was quite vocally completely uninvolved with the game, that isn't exactly what we'd define canon. Yet, if you're into zombie survival, this may be for you.
