Metal Gear Survive has finally arrived and to commemorate the game's launch, Konami has released a launch trailer showcasing various snippets of gameplay from both the single and multiplayer modes.

According to the press release, Konami unveiled that although the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are now available, those looking to purchase the game on PC will have to wait one more day before getting their hands on the game. The publisher also confirmed that starting next month, players can expect free content updates, which include new events and co-op missions.

Metal Gear Survive was developed by Konami Digital Entertainment and is the first game in the series after Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and is the first game released after series’ creator, Hideo Kojima departed from the company in 2015. Set sometime between the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear Survive has players transported to an alternate reality infested with crystalline zombified-like known as “creatures.”
