The Outsiders has officially announced the first DLC expansion for Metal: Hellslinger. Dream of The Beast, the first paid expansion for Metal: Hellsinger, will be available on March 29 for PC and consoles. While it doesn't add any new storylines, missions, or levels, there are some exciting gameplay additions in Dream of The Beast that will give you enough reason to start up a new playthrough. The new expansion adds two new songs from vocalists Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil and Will Ramos of Lorna Shore. The new tracks are composed by Two Feathers and will add up even more to the chaotic experience of Metal: Hellsinger. Players can also expect the arrival of a new Song Selector feature, which allows players to select their favorite song for each level before playing it. This will be part of a free update, available for all game owners.

Looking for more from the expansion? Metal: Hellsinger welcomes a new machine gun-like weapon in Dream of the Beast. Called "The Red Right Hand," you will have a fun time slaying demons with short powerful bursts of this weapon that vary in length. The developer doesn't mention if you need to complete a certain challenge to acquire it, or if the weapon will be instantly unlocked for expansion owners.

Last but not least, the upcoming DLC introduces three new outfits for the Unknown, but they are not only cosmetics. Each one of the outfits (Angel Eyes, Morning Star, and Dark Devotee) comes with a special passive skill, such as faster reloads or larger max ammo size.

All these new features will probably be tempting enough for beginning a new playthrough in Metal: Hellsinger, or in case you haven't experienced the game at all, you can get the full experience along with the DLC.

Unfortunately, The Outsiders is yet to reveal the price tag for the Dream of the Beast DLC. Also, there is no option for players to pre-order the DLC at the moment, but we will probably hear more about the launch details as we get closer to the end of this month, which marks the expansion's release.
