Today NIS America released a new trailer of Kadokawa Games’ JRPG Metal Max Xeno.

While the game is primarily about vehicle combat, this time around we get to see how our characters can handle fighting on foot. This is a full-fledged open-world JRPG, even if battles are actually turn-based and quite traditional.

Metal Max Xeno marks the return of the old and beloved Metal Max franchise, that has been dormant for quite some time after bouncing around both Sony and Nintendo platforms, with a stop-and-go on mobile devices in Japan as well. It includes a vast open world and turn-based tank battles.

It will launch in North America on September 25th and in Europe on September 28th. In Japan, a PS Vita version was also released but in the west, it’ll be a PS4 exclusive.
