Metro 2033 PC Required Specs Announced

Hey everybody out there in the PC gaming world.  You are not forgotten.  As we heard recently Metro 2033 will support some of the most advanced DirectX11 features of any game on the market soon when it releases this March.  There will be amazing textures, lighting, and even stereoscopic 3D support.  If you want to play this game though you better not try pulling out that Compaq garbage for this.  It will not take a behemoth but yes it needs to be from this decade.

Laptops typically will have a harder time meeting the video card requirement then desktops.  Dual cores are pretty standard among laptops (from this decade) but you will need a GeForce under the hood.  The ATI solutions being offered are not recommended but will probably work.  You will be able to fall into three categories, each dramatically improving your game experience.  Remember kids, if you don’t have the right machine, the game is not going to work.  PC Gamers, let us end the world in style with Metro 2033, here’s the full specs list:

  • Dual core CPU (any Core 2 Duo or better will do)
  • DirectX 9, Shader Model 3 compliant graphics cards (GeForce 8800, GeForce GT220 and above)
