Metro Exodus and Dishonored 2 Join PlayStation Now Library This Month

Metro Exodus, Dishonored 2, and Nascar Heat 4 are now available for free for all PlayStation Now subscribers on PS4 and PC.

Last month, Marvel’s Spider-Man made its way to Sony’s PlayStation Now as the service reached over 2 million subscribers, doubling the number of its users compared to the last year. This month, three new titles from Bethesda, Deep Silver, and 704 Games are joining the roster to widen the available options in Sony’s streaming platform. Metro Exodus, Dishonored 2, and Nascar Heat 4 are the newcomers to PS Now in June.

If you are a PS Now subscriber, you can start playing Metro Exodus and the other two titles as of now until the end of November this year. All of the new games are downloadable through the service if you don’t have a stable internet connection for streaming.

At first, PlayStation Now was a stream-only service, allowing you to play games from previous generations in addition to the current-gen titles. Later on, Sony managed to add a new option to the service, which allows you to download the games and play them without streaming. Thanks to this new option, PS Now has experienced a considerable increase in the number of subscribers, which according to Sony’s latest financial report surpassed two million users.

While Xbox Game Pass still seems a better offer compared to PlayStation Now, Sony is trying to add more great titles of the current generation to its service, including PS4-exclusives, and keep the number of subscribers growing. PS Now subscription is currently available for $9.99 per month. You will get 7-day free trial access to the service if you haven’t subscribed yet.

In other news from Sony, the company decided to postpone its very first PS5 event, which was supposed to go live tomorrow, because of the current situation of the world, especially the United States of America, and in support of all the Black people and POC after the murder of George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The new date for Sony’s PS5 showcase is yet to be revealed.
