Before its appearance at Gamescom, 4A Games and Deep Silver dropped a brand new gameplay trailer for their upcoming FPS Metro Exodus during the Nvidia GeForce Gaming Celebration.

In this new trailer, Artyom and company arrive in a brand new initially seems nice and calms. Unfortunately, after a train crash strands them there, its uglier side rears its head, exposing some eerie forest environments and grotesque looking enemies. The trailer also shows off the Aurora Edition, which was unveiled last week.

During the Nvidia GeForce Gaming Celebration, we learned that Metro Exodus will take advantage of some new technology. The developers are taking advantage of the more powerful real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence, and programmable shading allowed by Nvidia's newest RTX technology to make Metro Exodus look amazing.

You can check out the new gameplay trailer below. Metro Exodus is still poised to release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on February 22, 2019. The game can currently be pre-ordered on Amazon, and you can check out our impressions from E3 2018.
