Deep Silver and 4A Games have confirmed the release date and time for Metro Exodus PC Enhanced on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

Metro Exodus is a story-driven FPS game that combines brutal fight for survival with exploration, combat, and stealth in a post-apocalyptic Russia.

The game is based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novels. It is the third installment in the Metro video game trilogy which follows the events of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light.

Metro Exodus PC Enhanced - Details So Far

The PC Enhanced Edition of the game brings several improvements for Ray Tracing capable GPUs, including Field of View options, and DLSS 2.0.

It will run at 4K/60FPS with full Ray Traced lighting throughout on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Do note that Xbox Series S will run at 1080p whilst maintaining 60 FPS.

The next-gen version of Metro Exodus also promises to reduce loading times, and bring 4K texture packs along with a range of platform-specific features — such as spatial audio and controller latency improvements on Xbox, and support for the haptic features of the PS5 DualSense controller.

Release Date And Time

We already know that Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition is scheduled for a release on June 18, 2021, for Xbox Series X|S And PS5.

Metro Exodus PC Enhanced will arrive as a free upgrade for current owners. For those, who haven't experienced the game yet, a physical Metro Exodus Complete Edition for Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, and PS5 will also be made available. This package will contain the main game as well as the two expansions: Sam's Story and The Two Colonels.
