After a very, very long 19 years, the latest new instalment into the Metroid franchise is finally here.
Metroid Dread was originally announced well over a decade ago, before disappearing into the video game abyss, so when it was confirmed earlier this year, it's safe to say that fans of the series were excited.
That excitement was only amplified as stellar review scores began to surface over the past few days.

How to Unlock The Morph Ball in Metroid Dread
Players will be able to get the Morph Ball just a few hours into the game.
The key prerequisite for unlocking the power-up is defeating the green E.M.M.I creature that will be stalking you around the Cataris area.
Upon defeating it, you'll need to absorb its power and then be welcomed with the message of "Morph Ball Acquired". Now, as Samus, you'll be able to explore many different nooks and crannies you couldn't reach earlier on in your playthrough!
