Michel Ancel Keeps Hopes Alive for Beyond Good & Evil 2 with New Concept Art

In the pantheon of games that have bordered on vaporware, the sequel to the cult classic Beyond Good & Evil 2 has long been gestating in development since its original reveal back in 2008, and while no firm release is in sight yet for the title (or if it’s even still in active development), developer Michel Ancel at least has kept hope alive that the title may still be happening.

In a photo posted on his Instagram account, Ancel shared some intriguing concept art that (most likely) connects to Beyond Good & Evil 2, with the photo caption reading, ” Somewhere in system 4… – thanks #ubisoft for making this possible!”

No firm announcements or reveals have been made yet on Beyond Good & Evil 2 by either Ancel or Ubisoft (with the last footage of the game coming from a leaked video in 2009), though at least the concept art seems to keeping some hope alive that the title could possibly release.

Somewhere in system 4 … – Thanks #ubisoft for making this possible !
