This Friday Micro Machines World Series launches onto PC, Xbox One, and PS4. And to celebrate, developer Codemasters has released the official launch trailer a few days early.

That's right, following a short delay, miniature scale racing series Micro Machines is finally coming back. Micro Machines World Series is said to combine the arcadey thrills of racing micro vehicles and epic team battle strategies.

In addition the classic Elimination and Race modes, there are also new battle modes that pits up to 12 players against each other in the same arena, in modes that include Territory, Capture the Flag, and 6 vs. 6 Team Deathmatch.

The new modes can be played across 15 different battle arenas, including the iconic pool table and my personal favorite the Hungry Hungry Hippos board. Players can customize their experience via the choice of 12 new vehicles to choose from, each with its own strengths and weapons. On top of this, each vehicle also has a plethora of skins to choose from for even more customization options. And the customization cherry on top: emotes, victory poses, and grave stamps.

The game notably includes both online and local multiplayer up to four players.

Micro Machines World Series will cost $29.99 USD when it launches. Below, you can check out the aforementioned launch trailer:
