Thanks to Battlefield 1, everyone is a little more aware of World War I, and on November 11th many nations celebrate Remembrance Day, to remember the end of the Great War and those who gave their lines in the line of duty.

Microsoft is joining the celebration by providing two special avatar items, a bugle and a bagpipe that you can see in the gallery at the bottom of the post, each priced at $0.99.

Each items also comes with a big poppy flower, which is a traditional emblem of Remembrance Day, citing the poem “In Flanders Fields” written by Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae, appearing in various ways during celebrations. In fact Remembrance Day is also informally known as Poppy Day.
