Microsoft Celebrating Release of Quantum Break with Launch Parties, Livestream Event, and More

This year is one to remember for Xbox One fans with the release of several huge titles coming to the console this year, and one of this spring’s biggest releases on Xbox One (and PC) is getting an even bigger series of events to celebrate its release, with Quantum Break to get events all around the world to celebrate its release.

Microsoft has announced several events to coincide with the release of Quantum Break in April, with a series of launch parties to take place across the US at various malls and shopping centers, along with the Microsoft Flagship Store in NYC. Midnight launches will be taking place at the participating locations, where the first 200 attendees will be eligible for raffle prizes during the event.

Pre-orders of the game at participating Microsoft Stores by April 4th, 2016 will also be eligible to receive a $10 Microsoft Store gift card, or online pre-orders of the game will get purchasers a free $10 Xbox Store gift card to use online.

In addition to offering the game for sale at midnight, all attendees that pre-ordered or purchase the game during the event will also receive a limited edition Quantum Break poster free with their purchase. In addition to the US events, internationally Microsoft will be hosting an event at the company’s flagship store at the Pitt Street Mall in Sydney, Australia, where Quantum Break actor Shawn Ashmore will appear at the event for a Q&A with fans and to sign autographs.

For those unable to attend any of the in-person events, Microsoft has announced that developer Remedy Entertainment will be hosting a special livestream event to coincide with the game’s release featuring many from the studio, with more details on the event coming soon.
