Microsoft Celebrating the Start of a New Saga with Gears of War 4: Live Event

In just a few weeks, the tale of the Gears of War series will be starting a brand new chapter with the highly-anticipated Gears of War 4, and Microsoft will be celebrating its release with an epic event for fans all over the world.

Microsoft has announced Gears of War 4: Live, a livestreamed event that will feature celebrity guests, gameplay footage, and more to coincide with the launch of Gears of War 4.

The live event will take place at 3pm PT (10pm UTC) on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016, with actor Paul Scheer (The League) to host the event, while guests such as Larry Hryb (Major Nelson), Jessica Chobot (The Nerdist), Scott Robison (Mr. Sark), and Justine Ezarik (iJustine) will be interviewing developers from The Coalition, including studio head Rod Fergusson.

The broadcast will also feature numerous behind-the-scenes featurettes, gameplay demos, and a giveaway of 90 digital copies of Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition during the broadcast, and allowing winners to play the title four days in advance of its release on October 11th, 2016.

Gears of War 4: Live will be broadcast on Xbox One, Xbox 360,, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Beam.
