Microsoft Flight Gets a new Trailer

Microsoft published today a new trailer of the upcoming free-to play flight simulator Microsoft Flight, set for release this spring and intended as a re-imagination of  the prestigious but discontinued Microsoft Flight Simulator series.

The video shows more of the landscape and of some of the planes that will be included in the game, and gives us a glimpse on the challenges that players will have to face in order to progress.

As a die hard Microsoft Flight Simulator fan (If I remember correctly, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: a Century of Flight has been the first 10 of my writing career, long before the age of DualShockers), I’m on the fence about this one. It seems to be focused only on small aircrafts and it will include only the Hawaii (at least at launch), while the Microsoft Flight Simulator series allowed us to fly a much wider variety of aircrafts over the whole world.

We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meanwhile you can watch the trailer below:

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
