Microsoft Planning a “Real Show” at Gamescom; Talks Gameplay Focus, Early Access, Xbox E3 App and More

on June 4, 2015 3:20 PM

We’re coming close to E3 this year, but Microsoft is already looking at Gamescom as well, especially considering that the two shows are very close to each other.

Last year’s Microsoft conference at Gamescom was a little limited, but this year they seem to have put their game face on, as mentioned by Xbox division head Phil Spencer.

Luckily, this year we’re apparently going to see more gameplay and less cinematics, according to Spencer.

Interestingly he also commented about the possibility of implementing a sort of early access on Xbox One.

Finally, if you enjoyed the E3 app on Xbox last year, there are good news, because it’s going to come back this hear.
