Microsoft Says Thank You to Minecraft Xbox 360 Buyers with a 50% Skins Discount Offer

In honor of the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft selling 10 million copies (impressive), Microsoft is offering a 50% discount on all skin and packs today.

Larry Hryb, Microsoft’s director of programming for Xbox Live took to his Major Nelson blog to announce the sale which includes the following packs that normally cost between $1 and $1.99:

  • Skin Pack 2
  • Skin Pack 3
  • Skin Pack 4
  • Skin Pack 5
  • Battle & Beasts Skin Pack
  • Festive Skin Pack
  • Plastic Texture Pack
  • Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack
  • Natural Texture Pack
  • Fantasy Texture Pack

Mojang’s PC version of Minecraft also passed a milestone today, selling over 13 million copies, resulting in Markus ‘Notch’ Persson, the game’s creator to send out this tweet:
