Microsoft Trademarks "Forza Hub;" Probably Preparing to Open Franchise-Wide Stats Service

With the upcoming launch of Forza Horizon 2, looks like Microsoft is working on tying things together, at least if a new trademark filed for “Forza Hub” s any indication.

The trademark description is, for once, not very cryptic:

Entertainment services, namely, providing interactive, multiplayer game services for video games, namely, charting progress and accomplishments of users in a series of video games; providing information about video games; providing a web site featuring information in the field of video games; providing a web-based online portal in the field of video games.

While we can’t be sure until Microsoft announces it officially, it definitely sounds like a centralized hub for Forza games, providing information and aggregating players’ statistics and accomplishments from the various installments of the franchise.

RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
