Microsoft has shown us very little of their new games streaming service that is currently in development titled project xCloud. We have seen the service just a few times up to this point. Well, up until now. At their E3 2019 press conference, Microsoft just unveiled the preview window for their new streaming service.Players will be able to get their hands on xCloud later this year in October and attendees of this years E3 will be able to get a first look at the service. To top this off, we also received the news that Xbox Ones will receive an update that will turn your personal Xbox into a free xCloud Server. Phil Spencer stated: "Two months ago we connected all Xbox developers to Project xCloud." Players will then be able to "turn your Xbox One into your own personal and free xCloud server."Microsoft also included that players will be able to stream your entire Xbox Library — including titles from Xbox Game Pass — too many different devices completely free. With the information we learned from the Stadia connect, it is going to be interesting how xCloud matches up with it when they are both on the market. With Microsoft's big service being completely free for Xbox owners, I believe it will be tough for Stadia to establish a big following in the gaming community. I know that many other people have been pretty skeptical about the future of game streaming, however, I believe that Xbox is taking it in the right direction, giving players the choice of whether they would want to play on console or streamed to a device.
