Mighty Gunvolt Burst Gets Three New DLC Characters: Ray, Copen, and Kurona; Surpasses 80k Downloads
Inti Creates provides details for Mighty Gunvolt Burst Version 1.3 update which adds three new playable characters.
Inti Creates announced that Mighty Gunvolt Burst Version 1.3 will launch on December 28 for players to play through the 2D action game as new characters.
Once updated to Version 1.3 players will have access to three new characters:
Ray – Mighty No.9 – A robot capable of independent thought, Ray is known as the “Crimson Destroyer”. She has access to a fragment of her memories and is known for hacking into databases in pursuit of a certain individual. She is also very powerful and uses mid-air spinning attacks to take out her enemies.
Copen – Azure Striker Gunvolt – Known as the “Adept Slayer”, Copen’s mission is to eradicate all Adepts from this year. Copen can copy the abilities of bosses and them as his own. Copen also uses a support bot, Lola, who manages his arsenal of EX Weapons.
Kurona – Gal*Gun 2 – Being a neophyte demon, Kurona was sent to the human world to cause trouble. She has a weak standard attack, similar to Ekoro, but her demonic powers are a force to be reckoned with.
The three DLC characters will cost $1.99 each on the Nintendo eShop.
In addition to these characters, Version 1.3 will also include:
- When clearing the Gateway or Cyberspace Coliseum stage without taking damage, the additional bonus points (+3000) earned for a no damage clear are not awarded.
- On Joule’s customization screen, incorrect text in the Help Guide would occasionally display instead of the proper text.
- 3DS Only: When the thumbnail for “Pixel Sticker No. 176” appears, the wrong image will sometimes appear.
- Other minor bug fixes have also been implemented in order to improve game performance.
Additionally, the developer also revealed that Might Gunvolt Burst has surpassed 80k downloads. To celebrate, they released a new wallpaper features an adorable illustration.
