Mighty No. 9 Gets Animated Series, Inafune Holds Second Kickstarter for English Voicework

Two announcements revealed today from the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter page has already made big waves online. The first, that an animated series will be created based on the title. The second? That he is starting a new Kickstarter fund for full English voice acting.

Technically speaking, the fund is for those that missed out on the first campaign and will contribute to extra content in the game. The first stretch goal is full English voice acting and later goals will be added as the funding increases. According to the official page, this will not impact current production on Mighty No. 9 or any rewards/goals met in the previous campaign. Next up, the team at Digital Frontier put together a teaser trailer (below) showcasing what an animated series could look like. Currently, the No. 9 teams are looking into the possibility of actually creating this series and more information on that will be revealed at a later date.
