Miiverse Getting Design Overhaul This Summer; Screenshot Album, Play Journal and Other Features Added

on July 18, 2015 1:31 PM

Nintendo’s online community, Miiverse, is receiving a design overhaul, complete with new features as well as changes to the overall interface.

Two new features to be added to Miiverse are “Screenshot Album” and “Play Journal.”

Screenshot Album allows players to easily save screenshots of games in one collection, up to 100 of them. The album itself is private and will not be visible to other users.

Play Journal lets players write journal entries on game as they play them. Each entry includes a screenshot from the moment in the game when the entry was written.

Game community posts will be organized into various categories — such as Play Journal entries, Discussions and Drawings — to simplify browsing.
