Nintendo announced today Min Min is the Arms character joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate. For the occasion, a pretty cool introduction animated trailer was revealed, with Captain Falcon and Kirby eating at the ramen restaurant where Min Min works.Later on, a full artwork with even more Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters eating together was shown, and it's pretty fun looking:

Masahiro Sakurai also explained how Ryō Horikawa, the seiyuu of Captain Falcon (and Vegeta), actually never recorded new lines for the character since the original Super Smash Bros on Nintendo 64. He did so for the first time in decades to record the lines in the trailer. Which is a pretty cool and heartwarming story. Sakurai also explained they had the idea for Final Smash attacks since the very first game, but could only implement it in Brawl, hence why Horikawa had already recorded the voice for it.

The 3D model for Min Min in Super Smash Bros Ultimate was also published:

You can find the Min Min trailer below.

Min Min will be out on June 29. There are still five fighters left to be revealed in Fighters Pass Vol. 2. Many incredibly iconic or improbable game characters from Cloud to Snake are already in, so it's hard to say who could be joining at this point.

In case you forgot, Sakurai said in March 2020 how Nintendo already picked all the DLC characters. He also said a pitch meeting for a character from another company was delayed due to Covid-19. It's unclear if that character was Min Min or someone else. This video was recorded on May 2, so it's a possibility. In this new video, Sakurai promised all the characters in Fighters Pass Vol. 2 will be finished and released despite Covid-19. Personally, I'm still waiting for Adol from Falcom's Ys series and Laala from TakaraTomy's Pretty Series franchise.
