Minecraft Documentary Comes With A Release Date and a Trailer

Minecraft: The Story of Mojang, a documentary about the huge success story that is Minecraft, is coming to an Xbox Live Gold account near you by way of 2 Player Productions, and today they’ve released a trailer to give you a taste of what you’ll see.

With special commentary and insights by leading industry icons–Peter Molyneux, Tim Schafer to name a couple (who you’ll see in the trailer below)–Minecraft: The Story of Mojang is set to release December 22 for Gold members in the US on 5pm EST (5pm PST) and in Europe 7pm GMT (8pm CET). DVDs will become available on December 23rd, and can be ordered online.

The feature-length documentary follows the young company over the course of their first year as they go from indie developers to world-renown stars.
