There's some new download content available for Minecraft on the PS Vita, PS4 and PS3 today in the form of the Pattern Texture pack and the long awaited Mash-Up pack.

The Mass Effect Mash-Up pack gives players the ability to craft items from the Mass Effect universe, which is pretty cool. Then there's the Mass Effect textures that players will be able to use to create worlds with a hint of outer space.

The second DLC pack, the Pattern Texture pack, gives players a whole heap of new decorative features that should add a a splash of bright to your game world with some fancy new patterned textures and even a stylish new user interface theme.

It's nice to see more DLC for Minecraft on the PlayStation platforms, even if PlayStation players have had to wait a little longer than their Xbox brethren for the Mass Effect goodies (almost a year and a half longer...)
