Minecraft Goat - Where To Find, How To Tame and Breed, What Do They Eat?

If you have just downloaded the Caves and Cliffs Update and are wondering where you can find goats, then it's not quite difficult. Goats spawn at two different locations, either amidst mountain biomes or farms. Mountain Biomes usually have wild goats, while domestic goats are found at farms, which occur naturally in the game.

Once you have found goats, all you need to do is tame them. Taming is quite straightforward, and players need to feed the goat 5 wheat. Depending on whether the goat likes you or not (which is completely random it might or might not get tamed. If it doesn't like you, you will get attacked and you have to try again after a while.

For breeding goats, you need to follow the same general procedure. Feed a male and female goat wheat, and they will enter love mode, and have a baby. Each time the goat is fed, the growth time of the baby gets boosted.
