Minecraft Legends is full of different enemies, a lot of which you will not be able to damage yourself and will have you relying on your units to defeat them. Some enemies that might seem hard at first, are easier to overcome once you know their weaknesses and how to deal with them.
Alongside regular units are elite units, which are all around harder to kill and more dangerous. Above elites are the bosses of the game, serving as the biggest challenges separating you from victory. No matter the opponent or the battle, having the right units and improvements will see you pushing onward to the end of the game.
10 Lava Launcher
The Lava Launcher is a regular enemy unit in Minecraft Legends. Like other members of the Horde of the Spore, they have a zombie-like gaze and white skin. They also have patches of teal-colored overgrowth and mushroom-like growths all over their body.
They have a catapult mounted to their bodies which they use for firing projectiles, making them an enemy you will want to close the gap on to be most effective rather than exchanging ranged attacks.
9 Spore Medic
Spore Medics are a regular enemy unit in Minecraft Legends. Although they are a regular enemy unit, they have one of the most fearsome abilities in all of gaming history, healing your enemies. This makes them a top priority whenever you see even one of them, since the longer they are around, the more of your damage they will undo.
They are also a dangerous foe in combat as well, with large groups even making you need to fall back. Do not underestimate them and always take them out.
8 Portal Guard
Portal Guards are a regular unit, despite looking like an elite one, that is tasked with being near the enemy portal as a last means of defense. They can be incredibly tough and deal a good amount of damage in close range, making ranged combat a good choice here. Portal Guards look like Aztec Warrior.
They have several large black plumes attached to their golden helm, as well as a large mace on one hand and a hammer-like weapon in the other.
7 Brute
Brutes are an elite unit that serves in the Horde of the Bastion under The Unbreakable. These units will unleash a spinning attack that can utterly decimate your forces. They are fast and your best way of dealing with them is to avoid close-quarter combat.
Their higher health compared to regular Piglin mobs just adds to how dangerous they are. They look like buff pilins with an iron helmet on their head and two large guillotine-looking weapons on their hands.
6 Pigmadillo
Pigmadillo is an elite unit that serves in the Horde of the Bastion under The Beast. Serving as an elite unit grants it the same benefits as others such as an increase to it’s health pool and the damage it can output.
This enemy will turn into a rolling ball that can easily destroy structures and units alike. They have a large shell-like object on their back, which they use to enter their ball form. They have a leather helmet and some form of breathing device over their mouth. Be sure to gather a lot of what you need to repair the destruction these mobs will bring.
5 Sporeback
Sporebacks are an elite unit that serves in the Horde of the Spore under The Devourer. These units are capable of throwing mushroom grenades that will prevent your units from being able to move and make them sitting ducks against other enemies that can attack them.
The Sporeback looks more like it’s a member of a Zombie Piglin Horde due to its lifeless expression, dirty appearance, and plant life growing out of its body. Like other elites, it has more health and can deal more damage than non-elites.
4 The Beast
The Beast is a boss enemy and the leader of the Horde of the Hunt. You will be able to fight them once you have destroyed all of their outposts. They are very fast and highly destructive with them tearing through structures as if nothing was even there.
Frost Towers are a very useful structure to make use of when fighting The Beast. The beast will do a lot of damage to your villages and walls, but they have plenty of openings to just pour damage into them. Just stay alive and have your units damage them when they can, and The Beast will go down eventually. They ride around on a Minecraft Legends mount just like you can.
3 The Devourer
The Devourer is a boss enemy and the leader of the Horde of the Spore. They have lots of overgrowth and fungi growths coming off their body and resemble that of a zombie-like life form. You will need to destroy all of their major bases to draw them out of the Nether.
The Devourer will regain health throughout the fight and players can find it daunting at times, but so long as they keep pushing the offensive with their units and progressing the fight, The Devourer will go down.
2 The Unbreakable
The Unbreakable is a boss enemy and the leader of the Horde of the Bastion. Just like The Devourer and The Beast, this is one of the three generals that serves under The Great Hog. After you have destroyed all of their major bases, The Unbreakable will become an available target to fight against.
The Unbreakable is a large Piglin with lots of gold trimming, including a golden Mohawk, shoulder guard, and gauntlet. They also carry a large pack on their back and have an iron jaw.
1 The Great Hog
The Great Hog is the final boss enemy of Minecraft Legends and the leader of the entire Piglin horde. You will need all the help you can get for this fight, bring your best units and be sure to take out all the camps surrounding the final fight, as this will make things a lot easier.
The battle will have elements of all the hordes, and The Great Hog themselves look like the most terrifying of adversaries in the game. They have red skin, a magic weapon in one hand, a spear in the other, and there is no question which mob is the most powerful in this Minecraft game.
