While the beginning of the year is typically a bit slow for new releases (aside from an unusually busy February we've had so far), the latest charts from the PlayStation Store's digital sales show no signs of a slow year with the latest results from the digital store's January sales.

A new update from the PlayStation Blog revealed the top selling titles for January 2016 on the PlayStation Store across digital games, DLC, and other segments of the digital market for both the US and Europe sales charts.

In particular for the US, Minecraft dominated the digital PS4 and PS3 sales while the cult hit Persona 4 Golden took the top spot of PS Vita sales, while in Europe the indie hit Rocket League topped the digital PS4 charts, followed by FIFA 16 on PS3 and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation for PS Vita/PSP sales. In both regions, the Season Pass for Call of Duty: Black Ops III took over the top sales for DLC/Add-Ons.

While both lists are largely topped by recurring titles, several of last month's notable new releases like The Witness and Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster also managed to find their way onto the lists, which you can view below for both the US and Europe for the last month:
