Mini-Mech Mayhem Brings Tabletop Fun to PS VR Early Next Year
FutureLab's adorable robot battling virtual reality game Mini-Mech Mayhem is booked for release during the first quarter of 2019.
FutureLab, the team behind the intense and frantic shooter Velocity X2, is setting its sights on something a little more laid back for its next project. Instead of high-octane side-scrolling platforming and fast-paced shooting action; this time around it is all about strategy and cute robots in PS VR’s Mini-Mech Mayhem.
Mini-Mech Mayhem places you in the shoes of a tabletop gamer who’s indulging in a game which features tiny robots buddies battling it out on an in-depth grid. These adorable little dudes can then be interacted with as they try to take down their foes in colorful Chess-like combat.
Along with being able to interact directly with your robots by tickling them or requesting a fist-bump, they can also be customized so that your personality shines through in the game. The light-hearted title also allows players to customize their in-game avatars through a ton of items from big burly beards and demonic horns to classic pirate hats.
Originally booked to launch at some stage this year, Mini-Mech Mayhem won’t see a full release until early in 2019. The cute little bot-brawling title will be arriving on PlayStation 4’s PS VR, but as of yet, there is no solid release date.
