After having been revealed back in April, Minit has finally gotten a release date alongside a literally action-packed minute-long trailer which you can check out below.
For those who haven’t heard of Minit, the game is a lo-fi action puzzle hybrid with a roguelike twist. Your curse? Every day ends after just sixty seconds. In terms of gameplay, that means you have one minute at the start of each playthrough to try and lift the curse, and if you fail, you simply try again.
The game is a collaboration between developers Jan Willem Nijman, Kitty Calis, Jukio Kallio, and Dominik Johann. The product is called, aptly so, Minit.
It’s designed to be played in such short sessions because the developers saw a niche for people who wanted to play an in-depth adventure game but didn’t have the time. The game’s overworld has been designed to be compact and to ensure that there is no wasted space.
Minit is set to release on April 3 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. You can check out the announcement trailer here.
