Mirage: Arcane Warfare’s Vypress Class Revealed in New Trailer

Today, Torn Banner Studios, the creators of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, released a brand new trailer that explores the Vypress class in its upcoming multiplayer action-combat game Mirage: Arcane Warfare.

The new trailer is the first in a series the developer (and publisher) plans to roll out called “Instruments of Death.” The video series will explore the game’s unique band of warriors, and serve as highlight videos for each of it’s specific classes.

The Vypress is said to be “one of Mirage: Arcane Warfare’s deadliest competitors that you probably won’t even see coming.” The Vypress wields two blades, and relies on her superior speed and specialized abilities — the high-flying “Pounce” and the teleporation-like “Phase” – to “end her enemies in the flash of an eye.” She may lack in defense, but she more than makes up for it in the agility department.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare is set to release for PC sometime in 2017 at the price point of $29.99 USD. Currently, the game is in closed alpha, which is still taking signees at MirageArcaneWarfare.com.

From the creators of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare comes a new competitive multiplayer FPS about steel and spells. Exchange-based combat expands from close quarters melee to ranged magic attacks, providing an endless variety of tactical choices, yet instant fun and familiarity for FPS fans.

In Mirage, the calm of a strange fantasy world is shattered by ruthless civil war. Warriors armed with steel and magic bring violence and death as they do battle across a fantastical Arabian and Persian-inspired setting of desert sands, market bazaars and grand palaces.

Mirage is a skill-based multiplayer FPS that lets you tear your enemies limb from limb with destructive magic and melee combat. Experiment and find your perfect playstyle between six diverse classes including stealthy assassins, hulking brutes, powerful mages and more. With an unparalleled focus on truly feeling in control of your magic and sword, Mirage demands combat creativity and will challenge you like never before.
