Young Justice's cancellation has broken man hearts: this comic fan's included. But LittleOrbit's Young Justice: Legacy title looks to rectify this grave injustice (heh, see what I did there?) with their upcoming game, which today comes with new screenshots and a release window.

The screenshots, which you can see below, shows off various members of the team--including Kid Flash, Nightwing, Tempest, Superboy, Miss Martian, and Artemis--fighting your typical anonymous henchmen, along with Bane and Icicle Jr. The screenshots also show off a few locations, including Santa Prisca, the prison where Bane was born. There's also a shot of the "mentor heroes," who will provide missions for the team and occasionally come alongside the junior team for special missions (like Superman, who you can see below teamed with Superboy).

The game is an extension of the Young Justice show, taking place between seasons 1 and 2, and partially written with the show's team. Other characters included will be Batgirl, Beast Boy, Rocket, Zatanna, Aqualad, and Robin. The team will be taking on 12 villains along with their minions, and include Lex Luthor, Black Manta, and the Sportsmaster (who should thank Young Justice for finally making him cool again).

Young Justice: Legacy is set to release to the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, and PC on September 10th later this year.

At least Wally West will be getting some love somewhere.
