As a die-hard baseball fan, I don’t even know how to express myself right now. You take what’s arguably the best sports simulator on the market today and add the ability to save progress on your PS3 and then take it on the go with your PS Vita? And it’s baseball! I’m sold. But enough of my fanboy jargon let’s get to the news.
Aaron Luke, a designer on the game, has confirmed that players will be able to save their games to the cloud which includes modes: Franchise, Road to the Show, and Season modes. On the PS Vita version, the save data will be transferrable between the two systems so you don’t have to worry about your PS3 malfunctioning since you’ll essentially have another copy per say. Of course this does mean that you’re required to purchase both versions of the game (ouch) but it’s totally worth it given the power of the PS Vita. Baseball season is right around the corner so I can now stop tweet-stalking my favorite teams! MLB 12: The Show releases exclusively on the PS3 and PS Vita on March 6.
