When Does The 7th Inning Program Begin In MLB The Show 21?

The MLB The Show 21 6th Inning Program is wrapping up and the 7th Inning Program will begin on Friday, September 24.

There is no specific time given for the switchover, but it should be around the time a new update for the program comes out.

This should happen after the Double XP event is over to wrap up the 6th Inning Program, which ends around 11:00 am PT on Friday, September 24.

Who Is Being Teased For The 7th Inning Program?

It was revealed the other day that all three of the 7th Inning bosses in MLB The Show 21 were going to be 99 OVR, which means they are going to be very highly sought after without question.

The latest tease directly from the MLB The Show Twitter account gave us a blind look at the stats of one of the bosses, which can be seen below.

This obviously led to a lot of speculation in the follow-up tweets, but the consensus seems to be that it is going to be Tony Gwynn due to a leak of an upcoming card of his with the exact same stats.

Other names were thrown out there like Derek Jeter or Carl Yastrzemski by many, with one person on Twitter even coming up with a list of the only players that would be eligible for this.

Based on this, we know it has to at least be one of these 18 players, which just also happens to include the rumored Tony Gwynn. It seems like he is definitely the most likely of the bunch, which should be announced pretty soon.

Make sure to wrap up anything you have left in the 6th Inning Program and get ready for the new batch of bosses in the 7th Inning Program later this week in MLB The Show 22.
