The MLB regular season is set to conclude in just a few days, but that isn’t stopping MLB The Show 21 from continually getting new content and the latest is the return of the ever popular Run It Back Choice Packs.

Diamond Dynasty is one of the core game modes in MLB The Show 21 and collecting the best of the best players for your team is one of the most important aspects of it.

There are multiple ways to earn new players, but some of the best are found in what are known as Run It back Choice Packs that are making their return for a short time.

What Is A Run It Back Choice Pack In MLB The Show 21?

MLB The Show 21 has various different types of card packs that you can earn, with varying rewards in them.

You have the basic packs where it will be very rare to pull a Diamond player in, but then there are others that are guaranteed to give you certain levels of players. However, these are often not easy to get or not very cheap to get.

The Run It Back Choice Pack has been a fan favorite in the past, as it gives you a guaranteed high level Diamond player. When you open a pack, you are guaranteed at least a 90+ Diamond player.

In fact, you will get a selection of five players to choose from and you make the ultimate decision on who you want, with you not really being able to go wrong with the quality of players in these packs.

Who Can You Get In A Run It Back Choice Pack?

As announced in a tweet on the official MLB The Show Twitter account, the latest Run It Back Choice Pack will start being available on October 1 around noon, though they didn’t specify how you will be able to acquire the packs themselves yet. However, it’s possible it’s going to be from Conquest mode like before.

As for the players in the pack this time around, there are 11 total cards that can show up in your pack of five to choose from, which are as follows.

  • 99 OVR Signature Series Don Mattingly
  • 98 OVR 2015 2nd Half Heroes Edwin Encarnacion
  • 97 OVR Future Stars Keibert Ruiz
  • 97 OVR Future Stars Nolan Gorman
  • 97 OVR Future Stars Tarik Skubal
  • 95 OVR 2012 Gold Glove Jason Heyward
  • 94 OVR 2018 Gold Glove Andrelton Simmons
  • 93 OVR 300 Save Club Huston Street
  • 91 OVR 2017 2nd Half Heroes Luis Severino
  • 91 OVR Prime Steve Cishek
  • 90 OVR 2019 2nd Half Heroes Eugenio Suarez

There are some really good players in the above list, so working towards earning these players will be very worthwhile in the game. If it’s anything like before, the packs will probably be obtained through Conquest, but we’ll have to wait to see for sure.
