MLB The Show 21 Servers Down And Maintenance Schedule For Today (October 8)

MLB The Show 21 received a new update earlier in the week, but the game is undergoing maintenance once again just a few days later.

MLB The Show 21 already had a decent update for the game earlier in the week, but now the game is going down once again for server maintenance today, October 8.

Sony San Diego Studio is the developer behind MLB The Show and they are always on top of any issues or really anything that pops up with their games.

MLB The Show 21 has been no different since it was released back in April, with numerous updates or just maintenance to make things run even more smoothly than before.

When Are The MLB The Show 21 Servers Down Today, October 8?

The team with Sony San Diego Studio is very good at communicating upcoming downtime with the public through social media, namely Twitter.

This latest piece of information came straight from the official Twitter for MLB The Show 21, which revealed that there was going to be upcoming server downtime for maintenance today, October 8.

The tweet revealed that the MLB The Show 21 servers will be coming down for maintenance at 4:00 am PT on October 8.

This is around the time that the servers usually go down when they are doing maintenance, so as not to interrupt players in the US in hours they would typically be playing too much.

As with all of the server downtimes, there is no set time for them to be back up, but it is usually not too overly long to where players should be able to play again no later than noon PT as a rule.

Is There An Update With This Maintenance?

Considering there was already an update released earlier this week for MLB The Show 21, it does not appear that there will be an update this time associated with the downtime.

It is always possible that they could surprise us here with a small bugfix update or something, but it seems they are just working on the servers this time.

Make sure to wrap up all of your games prior to the downtime, since you will lose any XP or Stubs earned in games that conclude after they go down. This is especially important with the double XP event going on, as you do not want to lose out on that by finishing a game too late.
