MLB The Show 21 Update 18 improves matchmaking and fixes some connectivity issues that might have faced recently.

It's been nearly six months since the original launch of MLB The Show 21 as the latest entry from Sony's San Diego Studios and the game today receives its 18th update across all platforms.

Despite a few big issues that have been fixed soon after launch, MLB The Show 21 didn't experience a rough technical launch this year. The new update is also a small one that improves the connectivity performance. Check out the patch notes down below.

MLB The Show 21 Update 18 Patch Notes

  • Update 18 should address the connectivity issues and there are no other changes to note in this upodate.

The 2021 season of the MLB will reach an end in less than a month. Currently, the teams are battling out in the Division Series with the League Championship Series starting as of next week. The first match of the World Series will be on October 26, and if it finishes in four or five games, the 2021 season will wrap up by the end of October.

MLB The Show 21 features a post-season event that grants players double XP. The event has already started, but unfortunately, it won't be available until the end of the MLB season. You can earn double XP until October 15, the opening day of the League Championship Series.

MLB The Show 21 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. The Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play it for free. This is the first time ever that MLB The Show launches on the Xbox consoles and the Xbox Game Pass service.
