Today Bandai Namco announced the Japanese release date of Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2.

The game will hit the Japanese shelves on July 26th, exclusively for PS4.

If you’re wondering what the game is all about, you can think of it as third-person shooter Battlefield with Gundams (and a lot fewer players). Instead of having tanks and planes, you can jump into many mobile suits from the Mobile Suit Gundam anime series.

We get to see modes, customization, and a whole lot of awesome giant robots. What’s not to love?

Personally, this is definitely my groove, but Bandai Namco has mentioned no word about a possible western release, so we’re still waiting and hoping here.

If you want to see what the game has to offer, the publisher released a new trailer that provides a good overview of gameplay and features.

You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy an earlier trailer and an extensive gameplay video.
