Looks like you won't have to wait too long to play the updated version one of the most beloved Call of Duty campaigns. The rumored Modern Warfare 2 remaster will launch on March 31 according to the German PlayStation Store listing.

Dubbed Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, the PlayStation Store listing details what to expect. As exemplified in the trailer on the page, the remaster will feature improved textures, animations, physical rendering, and HDR lighting. Unlike Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, the Modern Warfare 2 remaster will only include the campaign. Its multiplayer suite will not be included.

However, people who purchase the Modern Warfare 2 remaster will receive the "Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle" for 2019's Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Call of Duty Warzone. Here is the full list of goodies from the bundle:

  • UDT Ghost operator skin
  • "Task Force" weapon blueprint
  • "One for One" weapon blueprint
  • "Flippers" weapon charm
  • "Belly Flop" finishing move
  • "Stay Frosty" voice quip
  • "No Easy Days" player card
  • "Ghost" player emblem

There were also a few screenshots flaunting the game's visuals in the PS Store listing. You can check those out in the gallery below.

The Modern Warfare 2 remaster has been rumored for quite some time now. Just recently, the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee rated the game, having many predict the game would be coming soon. Just a few days ago, much of the remaster's contents were leaked, including the cover art. With the PS Store listing, it is only a matter of time when we'll get an official announcement.

As previously mentioned, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered will launch tomorrow, March 31. If that isn't enough Call of Duty action, 2019's Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Call of Duty Warzone are available right now. You can check out our review of the free battle royale game here.
